The school

Champoluc Ski School was founded in 1962 by four Alpine ski instructors who formed the first nucleus.

The ski school of champoluc Has Been founded in 1962 by four alpine ski instructors: Pietro Chasseur, Ivan Commod, Oliviero Frachey, Mario Roux.

The teachers, not yet wearing the traditional red uniforms with white stripes and numbers much lower than today worked on the only available system, which is the piston going down between woods to Champoluc. The staff of the school increased in parallel with the increase of facilities and runways to meet the wishes of customers.

To date, the school can count on 40 teachers who work throughout the district. We have qualified teachers in all disciplines: alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, telemark, freeride and new schoool freestyle. In our staff there are also present a National Alpine Ski Instructor, a National Instructor of Telemark and a numerous coaching staff.
